Default 2013 - Programming Key Fobs for Presets

Hi All,

I've read (and reread) the manual but I'm still unclear on how to program my 2 factory fobs for Memory Presets 1 & 2? Seats, mirrors, Radio etc... are programmed without issue. I can't get the fobs recognized for preset 1 and 2.

Can anyone provide a SIMPLE step by step for doing this?

I have a 2013 Durango Citadel w/Hemi and all options.

I've done this with at least 2 other Chrysler cars without any problems.

Thanks,

From what I remember, while the truck is in run, press the s then the number memory button then within 6 seconds press the lock button on the keyfob. I think in the vehicle settings menu there is an option to turn on and off the option to link them if I am not mistaken.

Are you saying the seats will move automatically when you unlock with a certain remote? I've been trying to get that to happen for a while and just gave up. I miss that in my old saab.

They can but I just tried it again and couldn't get it to work. I think you need to use the key instead of the push button and I don't know how to pop off the button lol

It pops off super easy. At 6 o'clock on the push button it is cut out to slide a key under and pop it off.

I didn't even know you can do this with the key fob. If someone figures it out please post it up.

Thank you sir. Even though I bought my D with 16k on it, I still treat it like new and was nervous about prying it but it was easy. But I've got no issues installing a CAI and tuner. Lol

I set mine without popping the button out. My seat goes automatic back for easy exit and upon start goes to the preset seat position for position one/ key fob.

But how do you program the keyfob to the memory? Like if my wife has her keyfob and unlocks the doors it, it should go to memory two.
