So are there any nerf bars that will fit the R/T model?

Subject says it all. All of the black powder coated bars I find don't seem to fit my model. I was hoping not to pay for the dealer ones at $450 (uninstalled).

Yup, I just gave up on them man, didn't want to spend that kind of money on something so small, better saved for greater mods

Yea I would love to help you but in the years that you guys have the RT's they come with the extended side molding. Due to this extra effect many bars will not install because it will be too low to the ground.

I may have Westin nerf bars that may fit the R/T, just give me till tomorrow to get verification and Ill let you guys know.

Really... I have my truck just over a year and my 7 and 10 year old girls don't have any issues getting in and out and their both lil runts...lol! But I'm also form over function so if they needed a step stool to get it that would be on them!!!

I installed them this past Sunday and it was relatively easy.....took about 3 hours total, laying on the garage floor. They stick out just far enough to make it inconvenient if you DON'T use them, as your leg (pants leg) will rub the side of them.....only a problem if it's dirty.

My main reason for installing them was to protect the doors from dings as I park in a very confined parking lot every day at work and it works much better than side molding.

Pics? Yes, when I get time to post them.

What did you install, the mopar ones? This posting was about if there were other options out there other than mopar available for R/T-Heat models only due to the extra molding that are compatible.

If you did find some let us know where and model etc.

Cheers
