So what CARID is doing is charging me $275 with free shipping along with a $30 gift card. That gets me to $245 and dont have to worry about submitting any rebate. Any gives me incentive for the next mod
Thanks for help with this guys
Great Job Cheers To Fintan!

Hey Peeps, as my spare time is limited in evenings with 2 year olds running around everywhere. What would you say is the time involved to install the Volant, so I can decide if I should try in the evening or wait until the weekend to give it some extra time. Thanks guys and YES, I do have it in hand and NO I will not post pics of the box, you will have to wait to see it installed, as you know it is going to look far superior installed on the Black Beauty than any other DD out there......IMO

Ok so it probably is a 30 minute job, but I really had no idea how those darn grommets worked in the bottom of original box. So another 20 minutes of goggling to realize it does just lift straight up, just use a little bit of force.

Have to say I am very impressed with the sound and the response, but you guys lied and the box did about the increase in mpg. Id say I have averaged 2mpg since I installed it, my foot just cant get off the gas. Now if I truly want to push it and get the interceptor is the question. Still too many stories out there to make me question it too much, so now ill stick with the intake and the extra little bit of fun my DD is giving me.

I am not posting a pic of it, as its the same as all the other pics and my engine cover has no pretty paint or vinyl decals to make you all go goey over it and I don't want you to get a glimpse of the best color out there "Black" and get you all rowled up again either, its just not fair on everyone.

ebay is packed with $250-$260-ish volants and if you use eBay often u get to earn some ebay bucks for future purchases too so when i find same price/dealer on ebay I prefer to buy there. Good buyer protection in most cases and ebay bucks to boot!
