If you run the same road course over and over you get faster up to a point. mjnewman also believes his hypertech, intake and catback are worth 80 HP over stock

He was supposed to go the drag strip weeks ago but never posted anything about the results.

Fair argument but lots of guys here are running them with positive results so that shouldn't simply be dismissed. Lots of DS guys swear by the custom tunes but from what I've read on your posts you say its not better than their canned tune and then of course there's the issue of dash lights and no solution on DS's end as sbindley has noted.

I've seen no "positive" results (on any Dodge/Jeep forum since 2005) for the Hyperjunk other than butt dyno results, and we all know how accurate those are these days. Might as well add a throttle body ground coupled with the Hypertech (google it if youre not familiar, very funny threads). And bringing up Newman or whoever is silly as his results have been skewed from the beginning when he posted those odd dyno results. Sorry but I just can't take any of his results seriously after that.

The fact is DS is a proven tool with years of documented results from unbiased folks over the years on the Dodge forums. And all respect to budoboy, but I don't think getting a custom tune from Hemifever is utilizing the custom tune feature to full potential as CMR software is far different from say something like SCT. I think a trusted competent CMR tuner would net better results. As for the dash light issue, I've never experienced that on my Durango with the multiples tunes ive written to it, but I'm sure an email to Johan or the like would get that resolved quickly. If it truly is happening though, I agree that's its unacceptable.

I don't know if the hypertech works or not as I don't have one. If folks like them then more power to them

years of documented troubles...

google ABS diablo or anything similar and you will get YEARSSSS worth of unresolved threads and posts all the way up until today ...about ABS lights

They know, they refuse to fix, they lie and say fixed, they take little to no responsibility for their product, and they get zero respect from me and zero future dollars from me and anyone else who wants to hear about it and listen.

How they don't remove/lock the tire size feature, or warn anyone in advance, or issue not 1 single release note on any of their products or their firmware ever, is amazing to me - yet they can find time to send 100's of "first to market" emails weekly to my spam folder

Because it might hurt sales, if anyone knew in advance that the already limited functionality toy they are pushing so hard does even less good than the marketing suggest, and worse - it actually does bad things

I wish I left well enuff alone and stayed with my interceptor - gains feel similar with both, except with hypertech I had more $$ in my pocket, more time not wasted, and no ABS light staring me in the face daily. And I just trust them more, hypertech seems to be a more truthful, solid, much more competent, and reliable company than diaBLOWSport ... I mean diABSlowsport...I mean...ahh forget it my truck still looks and sounds and stops better than most so whatever...but If I don't get reimbursed for any costs inurred by the dealer for fixing my ABS replacing modules whatever...then I will haunt diablosport for life...

if they were upfront and proactive I wouldn't blame them...but they rushed to market, they don't even have in-house vehicles to test with, cheap bastards...and no release notes or warnings, and bad QA/dev testing, means blames ALL on them

Did you get the lights when trying to change tire size or something else?
So far I am extremely satisfied with my Diablo trinity, but I havent done anything with the tunes, they have been written by Sean at Hemifever and I have not changed a single item otherwise. Once I do the exhaust I will be data-logging some runs and sending them to him for final adjustment.
Let me know when you had problems just so I dont get into any issues
