My 2010 Ford F-150 4.7 V-8 did it every once in a while. Never used any oil either. Must have been condensation since there was no "oil smell". Seems Hemi's are not alone in this.

The hemi does use oil, and when mine smokes on startup, it definitely smells like burnt oil

Subscribed. Same issue and only see the smoke every once in a while when parked on my inclined driveway. I was waiting to have this checked on my first oil chain at my dealer. I just turned 5k.

As said many times, there is nothing you can check. There's just something you can prevent by adding a Catch tank/can so that the oil could not make it's way into the manifold. You just have to regularly empty this can otherwise it sucks the oil in again... You will be scared how much oil gets in there out of condensation of the oil odor.....

Already a cheap catch can could solve this "issue" already. I experienced this with many high HP cars.

Thanks for the input. I'll start my search for the catch can mod.

Just confirmed with my 13 R/T that the new flash that has come out in fact does NOT work.

I see everyone mentioning the catch can and will NOT add this myself.

For some reason Chrysler is not adding these so I will not either. I have told them four times about it and they just shrug it off.

Now to move to the next step of going after Chrysler for this problem they cannot fix.

Has anyone else had the flash done to their trucks? I wonder if it is just my driveway doing it or if anyone else is having this issue still.

I personally have not had the measurements done, but have been told it look's like a 20% incline.

It does sit back pretty good but the kicker is ever vehicle I have parked on the driveway has never had this issue except the D. Even a 2012 Dodge ram 1500 with the 5.7 did not do it when I had it for a rental a few months ago.

Here is a photo of my boat and the Journey I traded in for my Durango on the driveway. It gives you a view of the slant I have.

Its the design of the intake manifold on these D's
The Ram has a completely different manifold
They should not do it regardless
