Our '13 Durango R/T and my opinion
This year in January we bought a 2013 Durango R/T. We put around 7k mls on it so far and we just came home from a ~1,800 mls round trip. The HWY is THE HOME of the Durango in my opinion. It's a breeze to drive and it made 23.2 MPG at times.
Positive things so far:
- Great size, enough space and drives like a car.
- Suspension is already 20mm lowered, firm and allowes carving corners just like you can do with a sporty coupe.
- Hemi produces plenty of power.
- Good MPG's
- Nice ambiance
- Mercedes-Benz features, like unibody platform, key, turn signals in mirror, dimming mirror glass, manual tip shift (left - right), electronic rear door with remote, keyless go, tilting mirrors when backing up, etc.
- Plenty of flexibility inside with 3rd row folding seats.
- Affordable.
- Proven technology.
- Service every 10k mls.
- No acclimatization, easy operation.
- Lots of system options to choose from.
Negative things so far:
- The A/T thinking time too long while hard accelerating.
- Brake pedal is way too soft.
- Brake system not aggressive enough.
- Plastic interior looks/feels cheap incl. buttons on steering wheel.
- Chrome interior totally out of place, would rather see carbon fiber trim or matte black.
- Noisy interior.
- Key is big and annoying in pocket, always afraid to hit a button.
We do like it and think the problems are fixable. I do want to wait for an aftermarket brake system (drilled and slotted).
So far we only put a K&N drop in filter in. I thought about the Borla cat-back, but I'm not sure. The Ram has a Flowmaster muffler and can get annoying when driving longer distances.
What we did is putting Huskyliners in all rows. These fit like a glove and they are awesome.
The one thing we want is a sharkfin antenna. I'm just not sure about the reception.
What's your experience?

Thanks fellas. As a former test driver I see/drive vehicles differently than most others. Me buying cars is like women buying shoes... they really have to fit and I can talk about them all day long
What model of the VG antenna do you choose, since there's no Durango in the list?!
Also, I'm not sure what to think about the EBC regarding quality. Made in Britain quality wasn't always good. I was more hoping to see a Baer Decela rotor/pads combo in the future. Also some SS brake flex lines. That would only make sense.

Also, I see in your signature that you have a dash cover. Where did you got it from? I was looking to find one but wasn't successful at all...
