Default K&N Air Filter - Worth It?

Hi All,

I don't think I'll get any "seat of the pants" performance out of the above but has anyone noticed any cosmetic difference in sound? In my 300C, I noticed a slight difference in intake and exhaust sound. A little louder in and a little throatier out.

Thanks.

Which filter you talking about the FIPK System or the OEM drop in filter? I have a drop in K&N filter for sale if your interested. Will sell cheap, used for about a week.

I would spend the extra $150 - $175 and get the whole cai setup - the sound is dramatically more intense..

saw it for around $210 - $215 on ebay from a reputable seller a few times

and the sportier look under the hood (the polished one especially - but they have black too) doesnt hurt..

good luck either way..
