Spotless & "touchless" self drying rinse
Looking to buy one of these water DI (deionizers) so I can spray dust/etc off my DD when I may not have time or strength to do a full wash, without worrying about nasty water stains/spots.
Also and mainly for a "touchless" drying experience with no need to waste time or strength drying the vehicle at all - no towels/no leaf blowers/no squeegie - just rinse and go!
Just thought I'd share - its almost a must have for those with black/dark colored D's and those with "hard" water - which I definitely have..
If I dont dry quick enough, regardless of drying method, I get bad water stains/spots...and god forbid I just want to rinse bird shat or brake dust or anything in between washes...I cant,
or it looks WORSE than before I rinsed..
These all have good reviews and I know someone with the CR spotless and its great, plus this deal with the resin refills
from costco make that one my likely choice..also best water pressure
and nice cart and least annoying to use..
Same concept of the now discontinued "Mr Clean" spot-free auto wash & self drying kit, but bigger/better/more water pressure..

those cheaper purewater things are just water softeners...only deionization (the items I posted) and RO(reverse osmosis) will provide touchless/auto dry/spot free rinse.
Water softeners are better than nothing and do help with some hard water problems but not so much for a spot free / stain free rinse.
Unless your water is not that hard to begin with, and even then,
it usually wont clear out all the minerals and "stain makers" that are left behind. Says so right on that website:

good car washes have huge tanks of DI and/or RO water..
if you wanted you could feed your DI or RO system with softened water to maybe prolong the life if the resin but without DI or RO you will prob still get stains and cannot rinse and walk away
