Default hood question

Hey guys I have a 11 rt. does anyone know if the hood is steel or aluminum? I wan't to put hood pin kit on my dd but i'm worried about rust if its steel. If its aluminum then theres no problem. I think a hood pin kit on these would look sweet. anyone done one yet?

On the underside so you don't scratch the paint when you take it off.

It should look tuff, but I think I would do the fake (stick on) hood pins first, to make sure its the look you are expecting, Pep-Boys $9.99. Then install the real thing if you like it.
