Joining the Durango crowd!
Hello guys. i am picking up my 2013 AWD Durango R/T Blacktop edition in Granite Metallic on Saturday!
I can't wait! This is the first Chrysler product I have ever owned and was a little hesitant about getting it but did research and it seems the quality and reliability is much improved over just 5-10 years ago.
I looked for 2 months to find the perfect Durango for me and finally found it up in New York. I live in NC! It has everything on it but the rear DVD and I am getting them to add the factory trailer hitch.
I already have a list of of mods...Shark fin, lightly smoking my taillights (have a buddy who does professional paint work and did this on my wifes 2011 explorer and it turned out great),Tint front windows, LED/projector fog lamps, and Lockpick.
Couple questions. I have an android phone, so which lockpick do I need? Any other tips for the lockpick install? Also, can I plug my ipod into the usb port in the center console and control my ipod through the radio screen, along with asking Uconnect to play certain songs even without the lockpick?
Secondly, I need a rear cargo mat that will go over the folded third row seats. I will use the seats every now and again but mostly they will be down. What are the best mates out there that fit the best? I have seen people mention Huskliner.
Thanks again guys and I will post pics as soon as I get her.

Cost roughly $480 for everything shipped. Best thing I purchased for the new toy so far.
Same here a 3'x5' roll out home depot carpet works Great! only $15-20 and it can easily be rolled up when not using.
Good luck with teh new ride and it's customary to immediately post pictures when you get home or at dealer delivery!

I have the lockpick V5. I bought a converter from some advice on here converts HDMI to RCA, you can get on amazon about $30. You connect that to your rca outputs on lockpick with Rca cable. Then you connect HDMI to that to your HDMI MHL cable(I have Galaxy S3),and voila, you have your whole phone on screen and not just VIDEO apps like iphone. Only thing to make sure if you take this option is last thing to plug in is power to mhl and then into your phone. Right now mine is hangin down side of seat, but im sure you can find ways to run wires under console etc etc and pretty this option up.
One last thing too..............

Thanks for the info guys. Any more recommendations on rear cargo mats? Looking for a all weather type mat. The carpet sounds line a good low cost alternative but don't really want to go that route.
Also, for the lockpick. So I have a Motorola Razr Maxx HD android phone. Will I need to order that hdmi cable to make it work? I am pretty fuzzy on this. It sounds like V5 is the one I should get. Install tips on the lockpick would be great also.
I will take a picture at the dealer when I pick her up tomorrow and also take some pics at the house.

Yup you will need the MHL converter, think you can get at newegg or amazon for $15 or so, converts your Micro usb to a hdmi at other end, so it can be used to conecct to your tvs as well etc. The lock 5 is cheaper than the ?CHR550, that is the one that includes the apple connection and allows connection the DVD system in back, but dont think you have one of those. Install is not too bad, do a search on here but there are allot of threads on it. When you get it etc, let me know and I can work you thorugh it, its all a plug and play harness, 30 minute tops, but of course will be more if you plan to run wires all over the place to come out golve box or console or wherever.
Also I have the husky liners, work great. I have my 3rd Row seat down 99% of time, so it covers the whole cargo area and has a lip all waty around so any spills etc it covers.

OK. Thanks Slaint!
My phone actually has a hdmi jack beside the micro usb. I guess I could plug into that.
So, by doing that i could see netflix, see photos, all that stuff that is on my phone on my radio screen?
I think Huskyliner or weathertech is the way I am going. They both look nice.
