Ok, a week after owning my truck I lost the keys Saturday. I still have the second set. Ànywhere to get the keys online? I did a search but nothin, except it sounds very expensive lol. I read somewhere it was about $600 at the dealer ..

Some locksmiths have the ability to do it also. since you can drive it to them i would call around and maybe it will be a little cheaper.

 

I had this happen too me as well, I did go to the dealer for replacement and it wan't quite that much, still expensive, I think I spent maybe half that amount.

Call your dealer for a quote.

 

Regrettably I don't think you have any choice. The keys are not just cut, but have wireless code information in them that communicates with the starter circuitry. Dealers don't vend that out. Take it as a hard (and expensive) lesson. :-(

Congratulations on your new purchase!

As the others have mentioned, I don't believe that the key is quite that expensive, unless you are looking to purchase more then one. Definitely contact your Dodge dealer parts department for a confirmed price.
