When I traded my Ram in I pulled out the 430 Mygig non-nav highspeed bus radio that I had put in. Since I have the base radio in my D I was wondering if it will work in the D. Any help would be great. Thanks.

 

You can get a D with a 430, so technically it could work. Issue might be whether your rig has the necessary wiring and controls connections since it came with the base radio.

 

it will be plug and play...except for the uconnect phone and voice recognition. Do you have that now?

 

I do have the UConnect now. Glad to hear it will be plug and play. I hate the base radio.

 

uconnect rearview mirror? What about SXM satellite radio? You may have the transfer the subscription for that.

 

also...take note of the colors of your 430. Will they be the same as in the Ram? I believe the Durango uses blue leds. Does the Ram as well. If not...your lighting may be a different color.

 

I have the uconnect rearview mirror already. I figuredthe colors would be different but worth it for the features you get with it. They won't move the free trial over to the new radio but I keep getting letters for only $25 for 6 months so I will probably just do that.

 

you should be plug and play then. Go to your local dealer and have the 430 sales code addded to your DD and youll be good to go. Everything will function after that is done.

they dont have to...but you may lose some functionality. I added the 730n to my 11 durango and had the sales code added and everything worked perfect.
