Default Uconnect with iPhone 5

I have a 2011 Durango with the 430 n radio. I recently upgraded my iPhone to the iPhone 5. Ever since I did, I can't connect to uconnect correctly. Will not recognize my phone. I can never get the Bluetooth code to connect unlike the iPhone 4. Anyone else having the same problems.

Probably going to have to do the update on the radio!
Since your D is an 11 and the I phone 5 is a 2013 my guess is the software needs an update

The Uconnect website is http://www.driveuconnect.com/ . There is also contact information for them if you want to get in touch with them.

Well I went to the website and put in my info as for make and model. It says only iPhone 3 and iPhone 4 are supported by uconnect. Just time to make a appt with the dealer

The iPhone 5 works fine with the Uconnect system regardless of what the website says.
Being that the vehicle is a 2011, have you had any of the Uconnect SW updates performed?

I have the same issue, except every once and a while it does work, but most times it just says error occurred. See my post about Iphone 5 issue. I have the RBZ radio, dealer stated they did all the updates however mine still doesn't work. (It does work with every other '11 I have tried) and they are offering to replace the radio...Ill let you know when that happens and if it fixed the issue.

Dealer: We'll replace the radio for you, this will take care of your issue MR. Customer. This will not fix the issue.
It really amazes me to no end how the dealer techs have no clue to the system.
1) The RBZ radio does not have anything to do with the Uconnect system other than play calls & media thru the stereo.
2) The Uconnect in this system is a completely separate module within this system.
3) In June of 2011,there was a TSB released (08-036-11 rev A) for a Uconnect SW update. This update was for the "error occurred" when an iPhone or iPod is connected to the docking cable. <please see the link below for the PDF file>
4) Your dealer says that everything is currently up to date on the SW, I would ask him to verify with the scan tool that the HFM has been updated by the change of PN on the HFM. The old PN would be 05064635AG, the new PN if it has been updated should be one of the following: 68140645AA, 68140646AA, 68140634AA, 68140636AA.
5) I'm going to bet that the Uconnect module has not been updated.

I agree Techs at the dealer and the dealerships themselves don't take the time to learn about the products and that is where all the problems arise from.
