Default Been almost 2 weeks...

Had total knee replacement on Aug. 9, and ALL I can think about is getting in my Durango and stopmin' on the gas. Unfortunately, I cant drive for a little bit longer, so I'll have to just admire it in the driveway.

Thanks guys; its tough. I've had 2 ACL tears on the same knee previously, and the rehab for those was NOTHING compared to this. 5 days I was in the hospital - ran a fever, and then passed out when one of the therapists was there to help wash me up. I'm pushing thru, and hope I dont have to go thru this again for a very long time (only 37 years old)

Man you have one hell of a story their! Maybe this will cheer you up, I'm out of work also waiting for my MRI appointment today for my knee, I hope I don't need surgery. Seven days ago I was dragged and ejected over a car while attempting to arrest a guy. here is some easy reading of the news story. At least I'm in one piece and can still drive...get well soon!

Hope you feel better soon and get to (gently!) stomp the accelerator again. You guys lead "fun" lives--mine seems so calm after seeing the news report. Uncle was an LAPD cop for 30 years. When he was a rookie directing traffic, a motorist hit him and sent him flying 30 feet. His back was never the same. Be careful out there!

Dam Tom, sounds like you were very lucky. Speedy recovery to you too bud. WTF is wrong with the world these days and what irks me about situations like this, if these dumb sorry a$$ drunk driving mf's had a true emergency, they would be glad to have the police there next to them to protect and serve. I have been here 16 years in the US and some of the laws really and truly get to me about what true punishment really should be.

I could ramble on but I wont, feel better bud!
