Does it have to stay plugged into the OBD plug all the time or can you just plug it in, flash the tune, then unplug it? I think the unit looks cool but I don't know where or how I would mount it so it looks right.

Drag Race mode... I don't know that I would use that, but monitoring would probably come in handy. Wonder if those are worth the extra $110.

I need to talk to Sean to get more info.

Thanks!

OK 93 Octane tune installed. Unbelievable how different this feels from Stock. I only had a chance to take it for a few moments down the highway. I can say with confidence that this thing hits hard and pulls all the way to 100+ with ease.
I need to record a few runs for Sean once the weather breaks completely so he can tweak this 93 tune even more.
At this point I highly recommend both the Diablo Trinity and more so I recommend Sean at HEMIFEVER TUNING

It has the 6 speed standard, and the 8 as an option, it may be standard on the higher end options. I'm just shocked because they've prioritized for a transmission that hasn't even been out for that long.

Nice to see so many experiencing good things from the Diablo. I have been using Diablo for years now with amazing results. I had to get off the forums for a few months because all the Hypertech fans were just being ridiculous talking shi# about that bolt on tune that was just that a bolt on tune. So now that there seems to be a good fan base for the Diablo with great results I'm back. And with that I'm getting ready to get a CMR from Hemifever. so for the guys that have one from Shawn does it get rid of that horrible lag in shifting from 1-2 and 2-3? God that is horrible!

Yes it takes care of almost all that lag. It can and will be tweaked even more once I send him some data. Others have adjusted shift points a little more I am not that confident in doing that myself YET

ya I have never messed with the settings myself. I have just data logged and got great results. I'm going to get the tune asap! I want head and a cam! Not sure mama will like that but as that 3 year warranty creeps up I'm thinking it will be time.

hey kids! long time!
if u did or plan to buy the DS trinity i suggest NOT changing tire size

ive had my ABS light on for months now as a result and diablo is too busy sending out a million spam emails about being 1st to market to fix it - their awesome support response is to have my dealer fix it or flash my truck! lol

otherwise i originally thought it was great but now im either just used to it or its not really doing much, who knows...93 octane with my own custom tweaks that I figured out over time...and since DS gives no guidance, detailed info, or recommendations for that either

i need some bolt ons anything new available like headers or anything yet?
let me know!

also almost ready to sell my magnaflow catback and get me my Borla...

whats everyone else up to? see steve got himself a DS Trinny too, nice bro! congrats!

of all my mods im still loving the brembos they get better every day, only thing i love more than going fast in My DD is stopping still best mod ever for our D's I promise you that !! lools and performance what more can u ask for !!

Hey good to hear from you. I have no need to change tire size since I am running stock size, which BTW I still have to go see your guy. I was completely out of time this year but will have some time soon to get down there. I have his number in my phone to call him and set up an appt.
So you are running stock DIablo tunes? I had Hemifever set up my tunes and they were noticeably different than the Diablo tunes.
Hopefully a bunch of us can get together in the spring
Take care good to see you
STEVE
