I have the same problem on my 2011 Durango Crew. I have isolated the issue to the second row passenger side headrest. I am going to try to lubricate the folding mechanism where the metal is rubbing and creaking against metal.

 

JM, I just isolated mine to the drivers side second row headrest, when I leave it folded down no noise, up and it drives me nuts. Keep me posted on your remedy to the fix. Thanks

 

Good to hear! Might try and see if I can grease up the part to avoid this.

 

I have the same issue. Mine is DD 2013 with 100.000 km and similar sort of action with my second line seat. I hope i can fix it soon.

 

Do you guys know there's a TSB for this? Only applies to 13's, I've personally never seen this problem and my 13 D doesn't do it but it sure sounds like what you have going on. I'm not going to post the TSB due to possible information rules but if you google TSB 23-031-13 it comes right up.

 

Mine squeaks from the dashboard left side as well as the back seat. Asked my dealer to fix it while under warranty and he said they could tear it apart but promised for every one they fixed it would pop up somewhere else. Told me they all do it and they have no luck troubleshooting. I love the truck (mostly) otherwise but yeah, this is one of my major irritations. well, that and the lovely orange peel texture paint.
