Default Second row seat creaking ans squeaking anyone figure out the fix

Just as above states my second row drivers side seat began creaking and squeaking yesterday. The wife sat in the back to help isolate the noise and discovered the seat is making the noise when going over bumps in the road. Anyone else have this issue and did they fix it. help my before I go nuts.

Did you try tightening it to the floor?
I read of a few seat bolts that were loose

Mine has done this for awhile now. Gonna wait until it goes in for the first oil change to have the dealer take care of it. I tried greasing the seat latches to no avail, so I'm guessing it's a loose mounting bolt.

I checked the bolts which were tight so not sure what is causing it but its starting to drive me crazy. Diff in the second row left side seat, my wife sat in the third row and was able to duplicate the squeak by pushing on the seat back. She also advised that it was like riding in a tunnel in the third row and the interior is quite larger then she believed from the outside, she was inpressed because she had tons of head room and the seats were roomy and comfortable, although she said she will NEVER ride back there again. HAHA

Jeeper if you get it figured out soon let us know what the fix is. thanks

Sounds like the exact same problems for me. Does folding the seat flat make the noise stop? What about tumbling it forward? I have a child seat in both 2nd row capt. chairs, so it's not easy for me to do this troubleshooting. By what I've seen, it's likely something in the fold/tumble mechanism that's squeaking like crazy. When I do finally get my oil change I'm telling the dealership that I don't want the truck back until that squeak is fixed. I love *everything* about my DD except that squeak. If that was gone, I'd be happy as a clam every time I drive it.

Jeeper, funny you say that because I did fold the seat back down this morning and BAM no squeaking and creaking! so its coming from the seat back or headrest.

Get a Room instead of the backseat.
