Default Oil Smells Like 2-cycle Mix

My oil smells like it has gas in it. First time I went to the dealership, they said it was because I needed an oil change. Been 500 miles since oil change and the smell is even greater than before. Never had a car smell like 2 cycle mix. D is back in the shop, but mostly because it's still leaking coolant all over the place. I think my D has been in the shop at least 4 days a month since I bought it. The worst part is that they can't give me a rental that can tow. Reliability is not something I would sell someone on with a Dodge.

I hate to break it to you but many people out there have a simliar reliability issue that drive a Ford, Chevy, Porche, Honda, Cadillac, Toyota, Nissan, etc. so please, let's not isolate it to Dodge. lol

That does not in any way excuse the situation you are in. I hope you get it fixed!

Sounds like you have a compression problem. Bad ring or even a pinhole burned through a piston. That'll dump gas into the oil all day long. Hope you're still under warranty because this will probably be a fun repair.

The tested compression, and said it was 180 across all cylinders...

Get a sample and have it tested. If you Google "oil sample testing" a number of companies pop up.
