Hi All,

A bit frustrated with the UConnect system at the moment. I've been playing music off the Front USB and when I tap the "Devices" button to switch to my iPhone or Aux Input Cable, nothing happens. I don't get it.

Anyone having this problem? If I use the button on the back of the steering wheel to cycle through SAT, AM, FM, HDD, AUX, I can get to my phone but simply tapping the "Devices" button on the screen while a USB Drive is in the front slot does nothing. I can post a video if no one knows what I'm saying.

I also thought I was having a problem and when I mentioned it in the car with wife and kids my 15 yr old daughter said let me see and she hit the buttons in a certain order and it works perfect everytime for her. Its a quirky unit sometimes.

Sometimes I have to hit the media button twice for the aux inputs to work right. Don't know why, but it works for me.

 

Before I remove the USB or change modes I hit Pause to stop the music on the USB from playing. No issues with switching around after that. Give that a try and let us know what happens.

 

 

A couple things to note:

1.) when playing music from the front USB drive which is what the video starts with, the "devices" button does nothing.

2.) I can get to my iPhone only by pushing the "Media" button.

3.) When my IPhone is the selected device, the "devices" button works but there is no "front usb" !

What the heck is going on here
