Well thats good to know now hahahah Got it back and its all fixed. Turns out there were some flash updates needed: Software Flash for Powertrain Control Module (PCM), Software Flash for ABS, and Software Flash for DTCM, Flash Update to PLGM (dont know what that is).

I'll post you up a map of all the modules next time I get a "loaded" one in here. It's kinda cool if youve never seen one. All those acronyms...

Am I correct to assume the updates were only for R/Ts? Or just yours?
If it had been for all R/Ts I would've expect more complaints on this forum, or even if it was only for '12 R/Ts, or all '12s.

Maybe TNTech can shed some light on this . . .?

The particular updates depend on the build configuration of the car. The scan tool software pulls the updates according to the VIN. They need to hook up to it and see which ones are available to know for sure.

you would think they'd do this stuff before they sell the cars .. unless this stuff came out after the fact. I recently had to get an ECU reflash myself.

The majority of vehicles have an electronic command module (ECM),which is the mechanized motor administration framework. This module controls every engine operation and its transmission, giving high performance of the motor and disposing the potential emission. These electronic control modules have personal testing limits, which make people mindful about motor discomforts, if it shows up within the electric motor. One of such markers of the ECM is the indication regarding "check motor light". This light enlightens in situations when there is a problem in the engine.

The ones that are available at new car inspection are done then. Most of them come out after the fact.
