Well, I must have a special Durango to have it smoking still with the can on.

I just cannot win. First day owning smoked, they change oil pan to large one. Then still smoked, then the flash came out and it still smokes, get dealer to pickup cost of catch can/ installation but still smokes.....If it were not for bad luck, I would have no luck at all.

I will try to get photos of the can when I go in to get the oil change.

Do not get me wrong, things have gotten better since the flash BUUUUUT, it still smokes. The the entire start-up smoke kills me also.

I just want my truck to NOT smoke and I would fall in love with her all over again...lol

That is not much of an incline. You have a mechanical issue with a head or head gasket, or possible piston ring issues...none of these things will fix themselves. It should not smoke.

Think Wash has it right^^^. try venting the entire PCV system and pull the oil fill cap off before startup to see if it still smokes. The other much more intensive check is to pull the plugs after an overnight park and see if you have oil on any plugs. Your startup smoke may be a more
serious issue.
