Default New Tire/Wheel Question

Hi everyone...new to the forum and new to the Durango family. Picked up my 2013 Durango SXT 2 weeks ago and I absolutley love it! After appx. $1500 in upgrades to the sound system, I'm now looking to do some exterior mods. One of the things I'm looking to do and need the experts advice is regarding the tire/wheel size. I'm wondering if 20x9's would fit without having to do any modifications?

Since I haven't done anything to the exterior yet, I won't bore you with any pictures of a standard SXT, but once I get some mods done I'll be sure to post some pics. I have very much enjoyed loking through the pics of all your Durango's and getting ideas...now it's time for me to get to work on mine!

Love the screen name, It a real charmer with the ladies ! Welcome to the Forum by the way. So, lets talk about this 1500 dollar stereo upgrade ????? what did you do and where are the pics of that?

20x9 as Steve said is perfect, no mods and fitment issues with the offset. If it fits the Jeep GC then it fits the DD. Since many wheel sites don't list out trucks. Good luck and welcome again

Haha - thanks Victory - was trying to come up with something somewhat clever...glad you liked it!

Well. that included labor, but I had installed a Kenwood DDX770 head unit. JBL GTO938's and GTO638's for the speakers and just to **** off the neighbors I had them add a JBL GTO-3EZ. I also had them throw in a remote control start for the cold Massachsetts winters!

Thanks for the advice on the tires FST!

haha - okay, Steve - I'm at work right now but this weekend I will take some pics and post. speakers are in the doors and the amp is under the seat so I can't take a pic of those, but I can at least take a pic of the head unit and we'll just call the shot of the Durango the "before" photo's. Once the new shoes go on it, I'll get some more up.

just realized the color of my Durango is actually Max Steel Gray...LOL - hopefully I can get the moderator to change that for me.
