Default 2014 Durango has variable intake lenght?

I was wondering if the new 2014 Durango with hemi has or not variable intake lenght.
I was not able to find any information on the official website. Plus my old 2009 Durango has 376 bhp versus the 360 of the new. Does anyone know why dodge after almost 5 years puts in the Durango an hemi with less bhp?
Thanks

For 2009, the Durango got the new Hemi, at 365 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque, as well as the hybrid system. Other changes included a new teal color, satellite video added to the rear-seat video, and a 30-gigabyte hard drive stereo option.

Original is at Dodge Durango for 2007 (with hybrid trucks) http://www.allpar.com/trucks/durango.html#ixzz2iwd4LhIR

Your 09 was only 5 more HP and the new 8 speed trans more than makes up for that diff.

Sorry but for the 2009 hemi on my durango the bhp are 376. The engine was the same of the challenger (at least the appearance). So the question still the same: has the 2014 hemi on durangos the variable intake lenght? And why dodge after 5 years.........?

I think they "detuned" them because they were afraid the extra hp would tear the awd system apart.... My 4wd 09 Ram had a lot more nuts than my 13 Durango.

[QUOTE=plib;3092179]I was wondering if the new 2014 Durango with hemi has or not variable intake lenght.

No it doesn't, the engine is identical for 11-14' models. Tuning for the 8 speed transmission and axle ratio are the only drivetrain changes. Do a search for RAM INTAKE ON DURANGO. Its been covered a few times. Packaging is the problem, The rams intake manifold is different and points the Throttle Body upward Name: truck-hemi_zpscf04322d.jpg

The AWD system uses the same transfer case in both the RAM and DURANGO drivetrains. I also came from a 12' RAM 4x4 hemi and they were the same other than intake manifold, gear ratio and tune.

Thank you!
So this is the reason for the hp difference?
I was thinking to buy the 2014 rt version but I love too much my old 2009 and when there is the change in intake it seems a turbo is kicking in. Plus I paid it 26000$ and the new rt seems priced around 40000$! The new transmission alone is not worth for me

360hp for all l's and w's due to intake/cam/exhaust
380hp for the d trucks which is variable srv intake
no l's or w's had srv intakes save for srt variants
