You will probably have to put load resisters in as well. I have LED's in my outer tail lights, and I have the lamp out message for each side, and the hyper flash as well. I am putting them back to regular bulbs and leaving the LED's in the tailgate. Unless someone knows of a replacement LED for the outer tails with no issues.

There are no flashers any more; everything is controlled and monitored by the computers.

It is possible to have LEDs without Hyperflash, but you must place a resistor across the brake/turn wire; the computer monitors the return voltage and if too many volts return (or none) the computer 'thinks' a bulb is out and gives you the warning and hyperflash.

Keep in mind that this A: requires tapping into your brake light wiring (so if you're not comfortable you may want to skip this one) B: you will not be notified if one of your LEDs fails, the computer will always think it's working and C: careful where you mount a load resistor as by their very nature they heat up.

Which ones did use/where did you get them? I'm planning on switching mine over before I tint my tails. I've got no problem installing resistors to stop hyperflash.
