My Dealer will order a brandnew Durango 2014 RT Redline2 Coat pearl for me.
My Dealer says there are Problems with the DVD System everbody knows more

I personally skipped out on the oem DVD system and bought a pair of monitors to attach to the headrests. After hearing about the low picture quality I decided to save my money and buy a nicer set of high def screens for the passengers with headphones.

 

No problems at all with DVD system on my 13.

 

The factory DVD systems have been delayed on the 2014 models and will hold up your delivery. If you dont want to wait you can surely find an aftermarket DVD system that will work just as nice.

IS the new DVD System in the 2014 Durango RT not good quality?

 

Its a cool system as the screens flip up from the seat backs, personally I think they look Bulky and I feel with normal children behaviour from time to time in the backseat they will be destroyed. I have a 2013 and my video is Good quality system in the ceiling. It seems old school in many ways but can be seen from all back rows. Eventually I may add 1 more monitor to the third row.

New dvd system on the '14's but I've had zero issues with the set up on my '12!
