Default 2014 R/T and Citadel exhaust

Will hopefully be getting a 2014 in the next few months and was wondering if the exhaust/exhaust note are the same for the R/T and the Citadel with the hemi?

Go to the dealership and test drive them, report back with pics of your new ride

up to 2013 R/T had slightly different exhaust, I assume the same for 2014 since none of that was changed

My local dealer doesn't even have any 2014's on the lot yet.

Shelbyguy,

As FSTDANGO3 stated, there might be a slight difference, seeing as the R/T is more of a performance vehicle and the Citadel is made for luxury, but they are both built with the Hemi. So the best thing to do would be to test drive each to determine exactly what you are looking for.

Keep us posted on your opinion and what you decide!

Thanks Katie. I understand and I thought that the Citadel might be tuned down(exhaust note wise)as it's less on the performance side like the R/T. As for knowing what I'm looking for, it's a no brainer for me(R/T) but the wife might have something to say about it.

Citadel is significantly quieter than the R/T, too quite. R/T exhaust is a completely different part number (and is more expensive which I find odd).

Not sure if the sound has any impact on performance but I'm much prefer to have the R/T exhaust on my Citadel than the one it has.

My wife has no complaints about the exhaust note from our R/T. She has commented about the rumble it makes, but has also commented postively about the smooth riding and quiet interior cabin.
