Just eyeballed it just now. My red pushbutton looks much different than the stock 2012 R/T one. I don't see how it will fit as the bezel looks different from Immo's bezel. My opening appears too small for the aftermarket button.

Also Immo said he went through the stereo but when I pulled mine to install the lockpick I don't remember seeing any way to get to ignition switch from there. I looked at a thread with lockpick install on the Durango with lots of pics and don't see a way to get at ignition switch with head unit out.

I went to dealer and spoke to a tech and he said he'd go from underneath and pull the panel beneath the steering wheel. I just looked at that panel and see no exposed screws. Must have tabs or something or screws hidden beneath felt covered cardboard underneath dash.

Looks like Immo has a 2014 so that would explain the difference in bezel. Don't know if the button will work at all on a 2012. Don't know if the 2014 bezel can be retrofitted on a 2012 or if the wiring is the same from 2012 to 2014 on this part.

Also it appears that standard 2014 Durango button has a small light built into assembly which the 2012 does not. Makes me think that the red button retrofit may not light up on a 2011-2013

I believe from looking at pics from the Charger forum, we have to take the silver benzel off our stock switch and put it on the new switch, it's held on with two tabs. The Charger guys are putting this switch in their 11-13 cars....but now looking at the pic above Im concerned.....maybe have to get the silver benzel too to make it fit in the hole since that what stops it from falling thru.

Our bezels are different than the one in the 2011+ Chargers.

I'm checking with dealer now to see if the 2014 Durango bezel is available for purchase. So far no luck.

Also eastcoastmoparts does not take returns on electronic items
