Oh noooooooooo. please don't tell me I wasted my money on this red button. Mine could be for sale too. Maybe 35 bucks Paypal and its yours! ugh

First PM gets the switch if this doesn't work..

confirmed it does not fit the module in our truck appears to have the wireless sensor built in. Its a big box with a plug and ground wire. So mine is for sale to all you guys with 14 Durangos.

Got the '14 Durango push-button start bezel yesterday for my '12 Durango. It has a different shape but I think it still may fit. Going to the dealer today to see if it and the shiny red '14 JCSRT8 push button work in a '12

Connector to push-button start on '12 Durango is different from '14 Durangos. The button and '14 bezel may fit in a '12 but plugs are different. $350 in parts and labor down the drain

Did they charge you the labor even though the plugs is different? Did they even look at the plug before installing it?

And regardless of all of that, why on earth would you consent to the purchase and installation of a $350 button?

Wouldn't know the plug was different until they got into the dash.

They quoted $300 for labor but I thought they were just being conservative at 2 hours. Didn't think it would take them that long.

Point is, don't bother trying to do this mod on a 2011-2013 Durango
