ok, got mine installed over the weekend... I had to shave off a few tabs, but install was easy beyond that... I think they look good, albeit not a perfect match to the HID's, but definitely better than the 6k's I have in my GTI... I know... Pics or it didn't happen... Here ya go:

bulbs side-by-side (you can see the tabs around the outer diameter that have to be cut off)...

But I also shaved off the tabs on the inside (you can see the differences)

And for those instead, yes, you just have to crawl underneath the front bumper and pull the splashguard out of the way to get to them... And for reference, to get the bulbs out, you have to squeeze in on the 2 tabs on the sides of the bulb. Took me a minute to figure that part out...

american sellers of the same product are asking ~190 for the same product. hope these are functional as they are 1800 lumens rated.

There is an easier way ... once you unplug, if you remove the one screw holding the fog light house .. you just twist and the whole thing comes out ... much easier!

Glad you like them, they look great. They are as close as you are going to get with LED's to the factory HID's.

FYI - Bulbs look different on the '14 DD, I tried installing the Gen5Diy bulbs last night. The grey socket was connected on the front and back to the black socket which was connected to the sides of the bulb. I don't think these will work with the Gen5 bulbs. 1st failed mod in the books.

I have a set of these if anyone is interested $50 shipped and paypaled, I have not even opened the box from GenY, because I saw my '14 had different bulbs. Note: these are only for 2011-2013 DDs and require slight modification as noted in this thread. They are $54 plus $6.95 shipping on the site right now.

I'm interested if ya have them still ? Send me info and a pic please. Is there any way of changing the fogs out to accept mor normal bulbs instead of these H-16 pieces of garbage. I changed out my bulbs to a set of yellow fogs and they had to trim one of the tabs off to get them to fit. What a pain in the *** !
