Default Poorly designed GPS

Here is a response received today (Oct 21) to my second email about the poor quality of the in dash GPS. On two occasions during normal servicing, the matter was raised with the dealership's service department. I am advised that there are no updates. As for my contacting Navtek, I didn't buy my vehicle/GPS from them. It is obvious that Chrysler has a problem, they should deal with it!

"Thank you for your email of August 15, 2013, regarding your 2012 Dodge
Durango, VIN # 1C4RDJEG1CC???????? and we are sorry to hear of the
difficulties and inconvenience.

As advised in our previous email, there are some systems limitations
regarding the streets, mapping and direction. The map data that is
included with your system is the most recent available at the time of
production. The software included with the navigation system is produced
by Navteq and not Chrysler Canada.

Any concerns with the navigation system should be review with your
dealership. There will assist in rectifying the issues you are currently
experiencing. Regrettably, we are unable to properly assess the cause
of your navigation difficulties by correspondence since there are too
many variables involved. We suggest reviewing this issue with the
repairing facility.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us."
