Default 8.5 vs. 10 inch rim width?

The SRT 8s I'm lusting for come in 8.5/9.0 and 10 inch widths. The larger width would require a larger tire, usually 285s or 295s. Anyone running that size? Any clearance issues? Spacers needed? etc.?
I know the MPG will drop going from 265s to 285s/295s but the lure of more meat on the street is attractive.

The Brembos will fit with the 9" rims!
10" wide rims may rub on the D, dependent on backspacing or they will stick way out

thanks for that bit of info. i was looking at some reps and most if not all of them are sold as staggered sets 9" front 10" rears.

Buy them from Stock wheel solutions he sells them any way you want them
I wouldnt do staggered as you will never get a chance to rotate tires

I called stock wheels last week to see if they are offering a Xmas bonus, but no dice. I'll call again this week and see if I can't get the lug nuts for free. If not, I'll probably order them any way. Agree -- no stagger. If I wanted 10s I'd do 'em on all four corners.

Depends how wide your tires are. My 285 can go full lock either way.
