I disagree. Moderators you can close this thread. Looks like another throttle body debate from non users....I mean "pros". lol

I was always happy with Fastman Throttle bodies. They always worked well and definetely improved performance and drivability.

Why ask a question if you aren't willing to listen to answers?

The 5.7/6.1 engines are very similar regardless of what vehicle they are in. I did 33 dyno runs on one test day with various throttle bodies and CAI's with my '07 6.1 hemi. Ported throttle body isn't worth it.

Do I have one I tested on my Durango? No, because I know it is a waste of money.

I'm sure if you look long enough someone will tell you their "butt dyno" says they gained horsepower or that the "throttle response" was better.

But what do I know:

Just because you own a Durango with a Hemi doesn't mean it's some sort of rare golden unicorn. It's the same engine that's been around for 10+ years. And many of us have been there since Day 1 not to mention testing tons of mods since then as well.

And budoboy is one of the best when it comes to the throttle body MYTH. I don't think anyone has put as much time in trying to find the truth than him: http://www.lxforums.com/board/f71/dy...mounts-231976/

And if you somehow feel LXForums is lying to you as well, then by all means check out the LS forums. They've been debunking the same myth for years as well.

I would say its probably more throttle response than actual gains. Newer Hemis get that done thru throttle adjustment in puter since they are drive by wire
Looking forward to Sean at Hemifever's tune for my D

The question was...Is anyone running one yet? Then clarified with me being interested in if folks are running one on a Durango and even emphasized not caring about the opinions. So far one person answered the question.

Pics of cars at a drag strip don't impress me. We've all been there. I guess it's my fault, I should have made this a poll. I apologize for the confusion gentlemen...and ladies if they are reading as well. lol

I dyno tested a large Kenne Bell TB on my KB SC'd 6.1, I gained a wopping 2HP, I took it off and kept the stocker......money better spent else where unless you are pushing over 700HP...
