Default Cree LED bulbs for Fogs & Heads

I've ran many searches over the web and this forum on the Cree LED bulbs. and found many talking about housing melted or had to shave the bulbs housing to fit them in. I do want to upgrade my fog and head lights bulbs but I don't want damage them or custom fit them either. based on searches turns out that the fog lights size is 2504 / PSX24W and the head lights are H11 (some H11 won't fir the Durango. dunno why. maybe cause of the bulb length) . questions are:
-which power output won't cause housing melt down? fogs 50W? less / more? heads 80W? less / more?
-are there different types of the 2504 / PSX24W or the H11 so they'd be a custom fit (by shaving) or a direct fit?
-Cree or some else? XM-B, XM-D or else?
-are they good for high beam as well?
-and the most important which power output won't blind the other drivers? putting in mind that the aim of the upgrade is to get the HID look and power output without the need of installing an HID kit that would cause a mess on the wiring or any other issue.

hope I get some answers soon cause I'm really exited about ordering those Cree bulbs.

thanks.

Cree bulbs are bright, but still are more for show than actual light output. They look bright looking at them straight on, but dont do much for driving light.

As for melting: no, no led is gonna melt. Thats only hid's in the factory fogs. Im looking at upgrading my factory fogs (which have been charred from hids) to a projector led. Ill post pics when i do.

I upgraded to the Blinglights BL-5000K for my fogs and I am extremely happy with the light output and color.

don't wanna blind other drivers or melt down my housing. please recommend one of the above.

thanks.

No led will melt the housing. The stock bulb is 23 watts i do believe.
