Well, OK, if you insist.
The older I get the less tolerant I become of the mad house, self-dilusional, stress-making, budget-busting fakery surrounding the "Christmas" season. Christmas itself is exceptional and is a true celebration of a milestone event. Its al the other stupidity society demands of us from late November to early January that ruffle my feathers and stick in my craw. Bah, humbug.
I much prefer Thanksgiving or July 4th -- short lead-ups to one-day celebrations. Then it's over.
Next year I'm going to Tel Aviv or Mecca. :-)
