I don't know about the Jet ones but the Motorad ones are slightly larger diameter than stock. With the gasket on it would not fit very well and I eventually just forced it. It worked leak free about 6 months and then when I pulled it out I noticed the gasket was smashed in a weird position.

You can't buy the gasket by itself from Dodge so it cost me $28 for a gasket as I already had the stock thermo.

If you install it and it doesn't fit right I would filed town the outside diameter a little until it does fit right. I may do that in the Spring but in winter I don't mind the truck running a little warmer.

 

Yeah he sent me a Motorad I am not even gonna attempt the install then I hate silly problems.
I am going to inquire if Mopar offers a 180 stat otherwise I am gonna run the stock stat

Mopar didn't offer a 180 a few years ago. That may have changed. I ran one on my Charger and the only time it helped was at the track.

 

Easy one Steve... 30 seconds on a bench grinder. You could use pretty much anything. Here's the link and some guys using Jet apparently don't mod it all.

Did you just order a Diablo straight from them and they put a tune in it for you or did you actually go there and get it dyno tuned? I don't know where Hemifever is.

the In-Tune is $499 with tunes
The Hypertech works it just cannot make as many or as good of changes in the D.
Plus the shifting is so much firmer and defined now.
