Default DDs score again!!

In the latest edition (Feb., 2014, page 56) of Consumer's Report they -- again! -- praise the DD as being the "top of its catagory" of mid-sized (?) SUVs.
They were especially impressed with new tranny, ride, quietness, interior room, access, front-seat comfort, useable 3rd row seats, and towing capacity. That checks all the boxes on my list.
The only major negativ e appears to be the limited visability to the rear.
Enjoy.

No link?

Limited visability is an issue with all cars now. Back windows aren't as big as they used to be. But they don't need to be now that rear backup cameras are standard fare.

And yes, it's mid-size (a big mid-size, but mid-size just the same). Full size SUVs are GMC Yukons, Suburbans, etc. Think truck frame.
