Stopped me at 120. Dang. Accelerated to about 109 petty quickly, 109 to 120 was slower than expected but still strong. Cut me off at 120 even. 120 was like going 60 is most cars, butter smooth. 0-60. 7.16 seconds. Very nice
In the last 10 minutes my MPG average went from 20.1 to 18......self inflicted
Governor speeds limiter depends also on which tires (speed rated) came with the car when factory delivered.
On my 11 crew with standard 18" and Michelin lattitude was set at 110mph
I hit 143 mph and the viper as you see did a lot better than me.
OK, here's the buzzkill from Pop-pop. Anyone taking selfies at 140+ mph needs some enforced/mandatory time alone to contemplate his stupidity. Getting deep into the triple digits on public highways should be severely punished, even in Montana.
BTW, yes, I have often exceeded the posted limit on the public highways, even into triple digits. Luckily, I was cured of that stupidity in my 20s when a friend lost control doing about 115 in a souped-up '57 Chevy. He over-corrected and we did several 360s on the road before coasting into a ditch. It was about 2:30 a.m. and alcohol was involved. No damage, except to our underwear.
Yeah, didn't know he recorded it. Found it randomly one day on YouTube. We were on I95 way outside of Vegas and no traffic. We slowed down when we came up on vehicles.
My '12 Citadel tops out at 110. I'm going to sell my HT. I'm having more start/stall issues (not related to the HT) so I need to take it in to get it fixed anyway...then maybe the Diablo.
