I guess I can rule this mod out with the tow package that features rear air leveling...guess I'll just fo with the viper 22s and call it a day

Wouldn't suggest towing any kind of substantial weight with any lowered vehicle... just my .02. FYI the '11+ Durango never had rear air suspension.

My 13 Citadel has rear air leveling as part of the towing package..

It has Load Leveling shocks. They dont operate on air at all but they work Great for towing and heavy loads

Sachs Nivomat shocks are the towing package shocks and are internally regulated and adjusted.

Ok..thanks for the clarification. I have a Lexus LS600HL with air leveling suspension and force of habit for me to say air leveling...either way, probably not a good idea for me to lower my durango with those shocks. .even though I think it would look awesome

You will have to switch to conventional shocks to do the lowering of the suspension
