Default 2014 Durango park sensor beeping while driving?

My Durango park sensor is beeping while I am driving. I restart the car and still have the same issue, any ideas? I have less than 3000 miles on it.

They shouldn't even be active in drive, only reverse. Check it out at dealer.

On the day you decide to take it back to the dealer, get a soft brush and a Dixie cup of fresh water. Gently scrub out the little channels in the sensors on the bumper. Dry them off. If the sensors are still beeping when you get on the road, you'll be prepared to answer this question/statement from the service adviser...."maybe they're dirty".

Never had that issue even when D is covered in crud. The only thing that does that is the collision avoidance sensor when it gets covered in crud

Never had this with the D, but did have it with my wife's Fusion Titanium. I cleaned the sensors and it went away...

Smee,

The ParkSense feature is designed to provide audible and visual aid when backing-up. If the beep is occurring while driving, as @mcfarl58 advised, it's something that should be brought to your dealer's attention. If an obstruction, such as a bike rack or trailer hitch is installed, the system can sometime misinterpret the object, resulting in error.

When cleaning the sensors, it is recommended a soft cloth with car wash soap is used. Poking or scratching the sensor can damage the part.

Take Care,

There are no obstructions and after cleaning it took care of the problem. However, it is very odd this would occur on D. Thanks all.

I live in Wisconsin and snow/ice/slush will cover back of vehicle at times. I get a constant warning when backing as well as a brief audible when in drive while at the same time getting a message on message center on dash to clear or clean parking sensors.
