It (the warning light with the car and skid marks behind it) has come on 2 times I the last 3 days while driving on paved, straight, dry highway. Both times it has stayed on until I parked for a period of time and restarted the engine. Turning the switch under the radio on and off has no effect. Anyone have any ideas?

You are going to have to take it in for service and have the dealer put a scan tool on it to see what codes it is throwing to put on the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) light.

Could be something as simple as a bad wheel speed sensor/loose connector.

Really no easy answer until you start looking at what the PCM has to say as to why the light is activating, telling you there is an issue with the stability control.

There will be no code...

Turning the switch on and off should actually activate the other ESC light with the off under

Check the transmission fluid level.

The on/off button turns on the second light.

Check the transmission fluid? You can't on the 8 speed. At least that's what I read somewhere. There is no dipstick unless the dipstick looking for the dipstick just can't find it. Lol
