I concur on that .. I have a case opened with uconnect .. but they have stated they have never heard of this issue. I plan on showing my service adviser during my first oil change.
Now that I have been driving the vehicle for a little over two months, the issue is very obvious but not always the same in that sometimes the bass may be booming for a song that's playing and I adjust the bass one notch and the boominess is greatly decreased and even if I go back to where it was originally set while the same song is playing, it's not as boomy? Other times when I first make an eq adjustment it may be a subtle change in volume or depth. It's definitely an issue.

When did you open the case? I ask because I started a case with them (Uconnect) weeks ago as well as at the dealer. What is hilarious is that at the dealer (was there there this morning) their system still tells them that the 14.05.3 doesn't apply to my vehicle based on VIN yet the Uconn system and the installation say otherwise.
FYI I have also noted that adjusting treble has made the sub level increase exponentially on occasion. Does the surround option do anything for you guys?
Opened march 28th, my case number so happens to be #24803030. What is your case #?? I can respond to the rep stating that another customer is having the same issue and reference your case.
