Still love the sound of the Gibson, everyone that hears it loves the sound too, even the people that dont want to hear it. As far as painting goes, its really a painless process, although better to get done before the install and save yourself a bunch of taping. For me it was about price, like you did, $400 was the most I really wanted to spend for some added growl, I know everyone has comments about what you could have done or better options, but for Stainless @ $350, Gibson was my choice.

^ and originally I had only planned on putting new tips on ... wasn't planning on getting the magnaflows ... but ... I changed my mind lol.
