Default 2014 Durango high beams not bright

Hello all...just purchased a 2014 Durango Limited in Sandstone Pearl. Absolutely love it. Very excited. Only concern is that the high beams are not very bright. Is there something I can do? Headlight bulbs are HIR2. Thanks.

After driving this evening, I came to the conclusion that the lights are aiming down. Has anyone else had that issue? Thanks.

i agree the high beams arent that bright. Im going to be putting in HIDs in there to take care of that and want to install a Rigid Industries SR 10" bar in the grill to use instead of the high beam

Remember that HIDs take appx 15 secs or more to achieve maximum brightness as the ballasts fire up. And ballasts don't like constant on/off. Some folks in the Lexus forum I am also a member of have attempted this and swapped back to halogen because of this. If you are running automatic high beams, this probably won't work that well.
