Default Got it back

Well we completely missed our vacation but finally got the D back Saturday. Drove 11 miles before the engine light came back on. Turned right back around. Same ol "small evap leak". Said I would have to make an appointment and bring it back for another week of inspection. No appointments available until April 22nd. Also started making some sort of suspension thumping noise from the rear. I seriously want to drive this thing off of a cliff... but this is Texas flat desert, so thats not happening.

Man, this just really sucks! Things like this make life-long Dodge haters out of people. My father bought a new Trailduster in 1975 and had nothing but problem after problem. I grew-up hearing how bad Dodge was and never bought one as a result until the D. I haven't had any issues with mine, so I was thinking dad's experience was just bad luck. Just goes to show that anybody can get a 'bad one'. Hopefully, you'll get this taken care of and be on your way. If not, there is always the lemon law if it turns out to be 'the one'...

Crazy thing is I bought a dirt cheap '06 Charger R/T in '08 because it was a buyback lemon from California. Had a new transmission and PCM put in with previous owner and I have never had a single problem with it. Almost 100k on it. I cant imagine this one lasting that long.

Ha! 4 hours away. Might not make it that far. In all seriousness, I just want it to get fixed so we can drive it, spend ridiculous money on mods for it, and just have fun traveling with it!

I know how you feel. Mines at the dealership to get fixed after several attempts. I just want a car i can drive as advertised. It a beautiful car that is meant to be driven and seen.

I've owned both domestics and imports before but not a dodge. It may have soured my feelings for dodge a little, but the durango is still the best overall packaged SUV IMO.

I feel the same.

Such a striking design, in the RT at least, and ought to be enjoyed.

I would call Customer Care at Chrysler, this is not acceptable. Not at all, especially getting it back and having something happen right away. For them to then tell you "Oh we can't do anything until the 22nd of April now .. " blah blah .. that's not customer service.

I can honestly say I would be in Jail by now, but the good news is, if I got 30 days for beating the crap out of some sorry a$$ Service Mgr, at least when I got out my truck would be ready.
Man hope this all works out for ya bud, that sucks royally!!

Ive called multiple times. They just tell me "your area is in a unique situation." With the oil booming, our population has tripled in the last 5 years. There are only 2 dealerships around here and they are both terrible with lines a mile long. I did argue enough to get them to call my local dealership and get it moved to the front for the power steering pump so it only took a week. I cant take enough time off to drive several hundred miles to another dealership and just leave it. I am hoping the noise coming from the rear is normal and just me being paranoid.
