Looks really nice guys. Do you know what product they used for the spray tint?

He first sanded down the lights (tape and masked everything off) .. the used black lacquer paint and did multiple light coats until it was as dark as I wanted. He finished it off by spraying it with a clear coat. Very professional!

I hate to be a killjoy but any modification to factory taillight lenses could result in: a ticket, an accident, insurance denying your claim and a lawsuit that you would lose.

It's cool if you're 16 and have nothing to be sued for, but once you have money in the bank and stuff that can be taken away, tinted taillights start to not look so good

OK - so that was my "swing vote" right there. Murphy's Law has kicked my but a few times over the years and the risk-reward on this one is not good.

Thanks for the info, looks like I will be painting the Dodge and not tinting the tail lights, lol.

Ouch. I had NOT intended to tint my taillights but nonetheless appreciate you posting that story, if only to get all of us thinking about the possible consequences. Scarey for sure.
