Default Old fart seeks computer geek help.

1. How do I edit a photo of my car in the garage?

2. How do I upload the photo as my avatar?

3. Is the smokin' hot fast 386 chip coming out soon? :-)

Either use adobe photoshop or right click on the photo and click edit(using the windows editor)
2. How do I upload the photo as my avatar?

You need to resize it(generally 188*188) and upload it in your user options
3. Is the smokin' hot fast 386 chip coming out soon? :-)
I don't know but what is the benefit of this over others?

Look at gimp. It is a free photoshop alternate but you really don't need powerful programs for simple edits.

I've used that one before, I just couldn't remember the name. I would also recommend that one.

Photoscape is much easier to use for basic image editing.

OK. See? You've already stumped me. dwolson2 said to "upload it in your user options" but I have no idea where that is.
I hope I don't sound like an ingrate, but I need simple instructions like "go here", "click that", "go there" etc. etc.
The photo is in my garage but I don't see any "user options" on any page. Can I buy a vowel? :-)

I take that back. I found the "user options" in "Your control Panel" on the private message page and figured things out, even though there is no button to push to apply to my avatar whatever changes I make.
What a logical place to hide it . . . doesn't everyone think "private messages" and a control panel should be on the same page? Sheesh.
