Love my 2014... But....
I have an SXT. The seat began squeaking like an old gym floor. First the back was replaced, then the cushion and finally the entire assembly.
The trans would act like it was searching for the right gear from 1st to 3rd. When downshifting and coming to a stop it slammed into gear so hard it felt like a rear end collision. Tech found metal shavings and metal flakes all thru the trans oil pan.

I havent heard of anything with the seats. Strange that it creaks. Something must have been loose but the technician couldnt pin point it so they had to just replace it.
I did have an issue with the transmission as well. It is well documented in the JGC forums that there are issues especially in the lower gears. Mine was bucking from 2nd to 1st. I brought it in many times to get it fixed. Eventually the valve body was replaced and it solved the issues. Can I ask what they have tried to do in order to fix your transmission?
