Default Radar Detector mounting places

4 months ago a i bought a valentine 1 radar and mounted it on the top of the windshield just to the left of the rear view mirror, i was wondering if any of you guys have radars and if so where did you mount them?

I dont have mine wired, but I know someone on here wired his and covered his cords etc thorugh roof. I have mine in the top centre of window, have it resting on my rear mirror, as in floida suction cups tend to pop with the heat so the mirror gives it some extra support.

ive got mine mounted next to the mirror ill take pics and post them up this weekend.

Left side of the mirror. hardwired. cord can be hid in front of the headliner all the way down the plastic on the left side of the window. It's wired under the front seat.

where did you pull power under the seat??

there is a box under the drivers seat, I forget what it's for but I tapped one of the wires coming out of it. The only bad thing is it's not a switched wire. I was going to find a switched wire but it's easy enough just to turn it off when I get out.

mines mounted on the large plastic box that is covering the cords going into my rear view mirror. i will take a picture when i get my car back. Powered using a DIY mirrortap.
