hi guys,

i have a hemi 2012 citadel, 35k km on it and been using it for over a year now here in Dubai.
for the past 2 months i've experienced engine shutting down for 5 several times while driving. the worst is it shuts down only when I'm turning to my right at a speed of approx 30-40kph. only modifications made are led lights inside and out and mgp calliper covers.
gave the car back to the dealer and awaiting for their diagnosis.
i would appreciate if someone had this experience before and share how he got out of this issue.

same issue for 12 crew v8

 

I had a short in the wiring harness located under the dead pedal that would cause the same problem. I could make it happen by pressing down with my left foot as hard as possible. When it happened I would get a service AWD light that went out when it restarted. As it got worse it was harder to restart the car.

 

Could be a TIPM module as well

Hope not don't want to go through that again. 2011 5.7 Citadel and have had it die while driving about 5 times now. Usually when slowing for s stop of turn, left or right.

 

I had a similar issue, it would shut down while driving then wouldn't start right away, took about 4-5 times to restart. The issue ended up being a problem with the fuel pump relay and wiring, once replaced the problem went away.

Same problem with my '12 Crew V6 with 35K miles. It happened twice, once cruising at 50mph but it restarted itself as I slowed to pullover. The other time was backing out of a parking spot. I shut everything down and it restarted on the first attempt.
I took it to the dealer but he said there were no codes. That was 6 weeks ago with no repeats.
By all means let us know what your dealer finds. I sure hope it isn't the TIPM, which will get pricey for those of us out of warranty.
