Default Towing Mirrors for 2013 Durango?

One of the uses for my Durango is towing our 22 foot wakeboard boat. The boat is wide and the mirrors on the Durango are not wide enough to get a good view behind the boat. Not only is it a concern driving, but it also makes backing down the boat ramp tricky. I've been searching the web for a good extension, but I can only find universal mounts that look clunky. I was hoping for something that slips on the existing mirror like **** makes for other years and models. Or, maybe a complete replacement. Anyone out there have a solution they like?

Don't know of any mirrors, but have you considered a wireless backup camera system?

You can wire the camera power to the boat's battery and mount that toward the rear of the boat; you'll be able to see where your backing in relation to a boat ramp/water's edge.

The receiver can likely be hard-wired or lighter plugged and you can take the monitor out when you aren't towing the boat.

Likely would be a cleaner look.

I use wireless backup cameras on Durango and TT. I also have extension mirrors. Campers World and others have extension mirrors. My mirrors have rubber straps to hold them. I replaced the straps with bicycle inner tubes cut to size. The rubber straps were cracking.
The mirrors are most useful for seeing objects at rear corners when backing up.

The mirrors qualify as clunky but work. 2 mirrors for close up and far, plastic and around $40. I could have spent around $70 for a better looking set.

Mine too! What type of inner tube did you use? How thick was it?
